SUBJECT:        Reminder of Live Cattle Deadlines/Columbus Day

 

 

 

Monday, October 4, 1999, is the first intent day for October 1999 live cattle futures.  Firms are reminded that all intents to deliver and retender are due into the Clearing House by 1:30 p.m. and reclaims and demands must be submitted between 2:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. daily.  The Clearing House will not accept copies or faxes of live cattle intents, retenders, reclaims and demand notices.  Offset must be telephoned into the Clearing house by 2:00 p.m. daily. 

 

Columbus Day

 

Monday, October 11, 1999, is Columbus Day.  The USDA will have graders available to grade cattle, but please note that firms will be charged the holiday hourly rate of $79.60.
